I started learning about permaculture in my early twenties as a way of finding positive solutions to heal Earth and her communities. In 2011 I undertook a Permaculture Design Course (PDC) with the late Patrick Whitefield at Ragmans Farm, England and then in 2013 I completed a second PDC - Earth Activist Training - with Starhawk in Cazadero, California. In September 2015 I completed the Permaculture Association (Britain) Diploma in Applied Permaculture Design. And later the same year, completed a 2 week residential course run by Looby Macnamara and Peter Cow, to improve and consolidate knowledge and skill, relating to facilitating people focused permaculture events. I write regular articles and reviews for both Permaculture Magazine and the Permaculture Women's Guild Magazine. I live in Yorkshire, England.
