Introduction to Microbes for all the Family

Summary information

Our new family workshops:

Microbes are microscopic bacteria that inhabit our environments, bodies, water, soil, trees and the air we breathe. Microbes are integral to life itself but sadly modern living damages our natural microbiome. In our new outdoor workshops we will explain the important role that microbes play in keeping you and your planet safe.

Rowan Wynne-Jones from Dig & Delve will lead us through a fun two hours of exploration and education in our woods and farmland where we can learn more about our bacterial friends and engage with nature.

These workshops are all about being confident in nature and learning how nature provides for and looks after us especially in these differing times as we turn to alternatives for inspiration. For instance a virus doesn’t flourish in a healthy natural environment so being outdoors in nature is the safest place you can be.

Microbz is a small company nestled in the Wiltshire hills situated amongst a 40 acre plot of organic farmland. We produce a range of probiotics for health, household, garden and animals. At the end of the workshops you will be able to browse our products and purchase at a discount.
Dig & Delve are based in the Cotswolds and run outdoor workshops for clubs, home schooling and parties. Rowan comes from a gardening and permaculture heritage and is the daughter of Davina Wynne-Jones, founder of herbs for Healing and the granddaughter of Rosemary Verey who created the beautiful, renowned gardens in Barnsley near Cirencester.
Passionate about all things outdoors, Rowan brings a wealth of experience and knowledge with her. Teamed with our Microbes expert Sue Allen (co-founder of Microbz) you are guaranteed to have a fun and educational time.
