Lusi Alderslowe - Educator Profile

Biography
Lusi is a permaculture educator living in SW Scotland, leading courses for adults and children. She first studied permaculture in 2005 with her new babe in arms, and soon after started to study the Diploma in Applied Permaculture Design, and to teach. So far she has taught on about 100 different courses including 25 Permaculture design Courses. She's passionate about spreading the permaculture word from speeches or workshops at events, to introductory courses, full Permaculture Design Courses, and beyond! Hence, Lusi is a tutor for the Diploma in Applied Permaculture Design, and loves to support people through their own learning journey. Lusi is the Children in Permaculture Coordinator for the Permaculture Association, and wrote the book 'Earth Care, People Care and Fair Share in Education: the Children in Permaculture Manual' together with her lovely colleagues Gaye Amus and Didi Devapriya. Qualifications and skills
Qualifications: Children in Permaculture Practitioner Forest School Leader Diploma in Applied Permaculture Design Masters of Science in Human Ecology, with distinction BSc hons Psychology and loads of short courses, such as outdoor first aid, ecofootprint, PDC, food hygiene etc..

Areas of Permaculture Design Experience: Children in permaculture - outdoor playgroup, forest schools groups, school playgrounds, forest gardens, vegetable gardens, workshops, courses, working with different people including in areas of multiple deprivation, ecovillages, urban permaculture, small spaces, social permaculture, compost...
Teaching Information
Offering teaching in the following geographical areas: 
Online - on zoom Mainly southwest Scotland including Galloway & Glasgow. Anywhere in the UK (with travel expenses included please!) Also willing to travel for longer courses - have taught in Ireland, Turkey and Spain for example - travel restrictions permitting!
